These vibrantly dressed young Hmong women live in Sapa, Vietnam where I was visiting on an anti human trafficking trip 3 wks ago. They were sitting in front of a store #MamaMai and I walked by, and I was drawn into their kind, unassuming innocence. Che, the one with the baby swaddled, told me she had her baby at 17. She was forced to be married at 16. I asked her what was the hardest part about her life today. "I'm numb from pain. This is my first Hardcover Photobook!And also with so much memories.
I completed this book with my partners.
In the winter, we headed to Shanghai and found some beautiful local photography spots,then took photo shooting. Finally we finished the work,I feel very moved!
