地理新聞 » 聖母峰雪崩: 歷年來最慘山難
今年的聖母峰登山季以悲劇揭開序幕。
尼泊爾時間4月18日早上大約6：30，聖母峰南麓發生史上最重大山難。共有16名雪巴嚮導死亡、多人受傷。西肩（West Shoulder）的懸冰川發生雪崩，導致他們在惡名昭彰的坤布冰瀑（Khumbu Icefall）罹難。
根據目擊者的說法，這場雪崩橫掃海拔 5800 公尺處的坤布冰瀑，事發地點在一片名叫「爆米花田」的區域內。意外發生時，雪巴人正在為客戶搬運器材裝備。（相關閱讀：“Mount Everest’s Deadliest Day Puts Focus on Sherpas" ，原載於英文版《國家地理》雜誌。）

我很喜歡魔戒，
但從來沒有想過可以走進魔戒的世界！
這次因為KKday跟紐西蘭航空的關係，
我們才有機會體驗「魔戒中土世界漫步」。
這個行程很用心，
可以算是三合一的組合，
就叫這個行程魔戒三部曲好了🤣🤣
首先會在皇后鎮集合，
在前往主要集合點，
（如果你要自己驅車前往也是可以的）
接著就會坐巴士帶大家前往Mount Aspiring 阿斯帕林國家公園，
沿途景色真的只能用絕美壯麗來形容了，
阿斯帕林國家公園是一個天然資源豐沛的地方，
隨便一個點拍照都像是明信片一樣！！
除了美之外，
這裡可是大有來頭，
很多好萊塢大片都是在這取景的，
像是魔戒、哈比人、納尼亞傳奇、金鋼狼等等，
而行程中的二部曲，
就是由專業嚮導，
帶著我們在森林裡漫步，
（我們拍了超級超級多美照的）
沿路她都相當專業的講解介紹，
像是紐西蘭獨有的植物跟特性，
還有哪些環境保育的工作正在進行，
（除了英文外也有中文的嚮導唷）
另外，如果你運氣夠好，
說不定會遇上電影裡的甘道夫出現在森林中跟你合照😏😏😏
本來以為行程到這就結束了，
但還沒有喔，
他們可是精心安排了快艇載我們回去出發點，
因為這樣，
回程看到的景色跟巴士完全不同，
只能說他們真的很用心啊！
（有的時候巴士和快艇的順序會相反，但就都會體驗到唷）
但快艇我早上才做了極限刺激的，想說怎麼又來了，
不過結果完全不同啦！
雖然沒有上午的那麼瘋狂，
但真的是可以好好享受整段過程、欣賞風景，
雖然也是會360度轉，
但這趟一點都不狼狽，
不愛挑戰的朋友真的可以嘗試看看🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

世界最高峰有了最新公布的高度。根據2月10日發表的測量結果，聖母峰（Mount Everest）的高度是海拔8848.86公尺，比先前尼泊爾政府認證的高度還要高出86公分。
