変幻自在のLEDディスプレイで作られたビカビカのスポーツコートでぶっカマしてきたさまざまなスポーツ体験、楽しんでもらえただろうか。

オープニングデイではケンブリッジ飛鳥選手（陸上）や村田諒太王者（ボクシング）、森星ちゃん（モデル/タレント）なども登場で大盛況だったTOKYO AFTER DARK AT SHIBUYA、ホストMCとしてばっちり仕切ってまいりマシタ！

2018.8.14。現場もSNS上も事件だった。ラッセル・ウェストブルック初来日。代々木公園ナイキバスケットボールコートは、つい先週末に開催したばかりのALLDAYからこの日までの僅か4日間だけ奇跡のJORDAN COURTに姿を変えた。ウェストブルックを一目見たいと、並びの最前列は前日21:00から実に18時間辛抱したらしい。4,000人を超える観客が集まった夏休みスペシャル。

誰でも来れる公園。そこにナイキがプレイグラウンドを作ったら13年の間に幾千ものピックアップゲームと40大会余りのALLDAYが積み上げられた。文化になった。日本のストリートボールの聖地になった。

そこにNBAスターのウェストブルックが現れて、Bリーガーで日本代表級なプロアスリートたちと、我らがALLDAY STREETBALL ALLSTARたち、佐々木クリスとDJ MIKO、ALLDAY実行委員のみんな、そして自分、が一堂に会した日。Yoyogiというロケーションじゃないと成立しない布陣。個人的な感傷気分は抜きにしても、これは日本ストリートボール史に残る奇跡の一日だったと思う。

2018年の夏。今週末は13周年のALLDAY、大井町の新コートオープン記念でballaholic game。SOMECITY TOKYOも11年目のシーズン、残すはプレイオフ。Russell Westbrook来日は来週火曜、今年は他にもNBAスターたちの来日がたくさん決まってるらしい。3×3もJAPAN TOURや.EXE PREMIER、頻繁に海外遠征。今年はオフシーズンにストリートでプレイするBリーガーをたくさん見た。こないだの富樫や飛竜、ベンたちとのballaholic gameもすごかったらしい。海外ではNYC DyckmanにGersh、LAのDrew、ParisのQUAI54と年々凄まじい。ChinaのDyckmanチャレンジのドキュメントビデオも良かった。ストリートボール2018夏、もうとっくに勃発してる。みんなは調子どう？

代々木がNIKEのコートじゃなくなるって噂を聞いた。最初聞いたときは正直ショックだったけど、ここしばらくは「コート自体がなくなるの？」って噂が蔓延してたから、それに比べればずっと良い。まず大事なのは今と先のこと。代々木に行けばいつでもストリートボールができるっていうこの13年間の蓄積がもう文化だから、それが継続していくことが大事だとオレは思う。

こないだ耳に挟んだ噂だから、この話はまだALLDAY実行委員会のメンバーとは議論してない。これからのALLDAYどうしよっかな、そう思う節も確かにある。それよりも目の前に決まっている事実、13周年目のALLDAYをバッチリやらないといけないからそっちで毎日格闘してる。初めた頃は21歳だったオレももう35歳になる年、実行委員のみんなも同様に歳取ってるしいろいろあって忙しい。愛がないと続かない。でも大丈夫、忙しくても愛をなくしちゃいないし、もう40回くらいやってきたトーナメントだからしっかり整えるよ。Westbrook来日イベントに影響して諸々発表が遅れてる分を取り返さないといけないしね。これからのALLDAYのことは、今回のトーナメントが終わったらみんなでじっくり考える。間もなくトーナメントと見所が公開予定！ルールも若干変更した部分があるからボーラーは見逃さずに！
