Disappointing.
Service staff was beyond excellent - all of them are so friendly, polite and well trained (2 of them even watch our videos and came up to us with encouraging comments!) Food was delicious in generous portions for a fine dining restaurant Relaxing music, fantastic ambience, located at level 57 of MBS, beautiful view too! But still we are disappointed. Why?
The GREETER (on level 57 not the one in lobby) treated us like second class citizens. We made a reservation here 2 days ago in order to catch the sunset, and when I called to check 15 mins before we left home, the lady who picked up said she wasn't sure I actually made the reservation, she put me on hold for 10 mins and finally found my reservation. So I told her we are caught in traffic, so we would be a little late, she said "not a problem". Pretty ok at this point. Shit hits the fence when we arrived at level 57. We got out of the lift with two Caucasian men, upon arrival at the greeter's counter, I was first, but the greeter chose to entertain the Caucasians first. Fine, I waited. After she's done, she turned away and started chatting with her colleague and Sylvia and I were just standing in front of her like two idiots. It was complete disrespect to me and my wife as we are here to celebrate our 5 year anniversary. Sylvia finally went "excuse me?" and it's like she just saw us suddenly and attended to us. Then she told us because we are late, we have to leave here by 8:15pm sharp. Way to start the dinner!!!
Even though everything else is pretty good, I'm not gonna come back again! Not without bringing @maxzzie along at least peace
P.s if you do come, order the soufflé, TOP notch !
