Toyota 總代理和泰汽車於7/31選在台北 ATT 4 Recharge 發表皮卡作品 Hilux ，採用單一規格設定，建議售價新台幣 136 萬元起。
Toyota Hilux 最早於 1968 年推出，發展至今已推出共 8 個世代，不僅擁有悠久的歷史，更以高耐用度及高可靠性聞名。目前在 180 個國家皆有販售，累積銷量達到 1,829 萬輛，乃是全球中型運動皮卡銷售冠軍。國內皮卡市場近年來也逐漸成熟，除了 Ford Ranger 擁有 5 年銷售領先地位之外，也出現 Mahindra Pikup 、 Volkswagen Amarok 及 Ssangyong Rexton Sports 等車款投入，在 Hilux 憑藉充沛的實力加入良性競爭之後，對於消費者而言確實是美事一樁。
