Talk on Maqasid in London
I will speaking on this topic at the Malaysian Hall on ths coming Friday.
While Maqasid is generally understood, its corelation to ethics (and vice versa) is barely discussed. I will be trying to create a theory on this corelationship. It will be unimaginable if ethics is not integral to the grand design of maqasid al-Shariah. Meaning this will form a new vertical of maqasid on top of the five established maqasid al-Shariah.
