Where do you bring kids who have outgrown indoor playgrounds? To a huge nature outdoor playground on Pulau Ubin! 😆 Tbh, it's getting tougher to find activities to interest my teens but cycling is one activity that everyone in the fam loves... and we adore cycling on Ubin because of the vast greenery, nature & lesser crowds.
Oh, and it's cheaper than cycling at East Coast Park! Renting a bicycle at East Coast usually costs $8 per hour so that means $80 for my family of 5 for 2 hours. On Pulau Ubin, it only costs $8 per bicycle for the WHOLE DAY!!! 😱 The bumboat ride is $4 per way (increased by $1) so in total, it's also $80 but we get to cycle at our own sweet time for one entire day. Which was why we managed to find certain quiet spots like the small beaches to chill. Makes me momentarily forget that I'm in Singapore. 😋
The cycling paths on Ubin consist of both tar roads and gravel tracks, so you can choose to stay on the smoother paths if you have younger kids. And they will love the adventure!
