In Iceland, besides rotten shark and Skyr, there is also the famed Icelandic hotdog. 🌭
And of course we queued up, twice at different stores in fact because one just wasn't enough for the 4 of us. I remember loving the crunchy fried onions in the sauce, but not such a fan of the tinge of lamb you get at the end of each mouthful. Still, I believe this is probably the most organic hotdog I'll ever have, with the sheep free to roam the pristine countryside munching on natural fruits and leaves all day long.
