Have been living in Australia for 13 years but I still can't give a straight answer if someone asked me what season it is for this month. I reckon it is just like me and most of my foreign friends that we still count numbers in our mother tongue. I believe that is why it has been said "You can take a person out from their country but you can never take their Country out of those people."

來到澳洲已經13年了，我還是沒有辦法馬上答出幾月是什麼季節。這讓我回想起10幾年前我在飯店櫃檯工作時，跟來自埃及的同事交接班，我用中文數櫃檯的錢，他用埃及文數，我們倆同時頓了一下，相視而笑，無論在這裡待了多久，數數兒的時候，還是一樣用母語。
你可以把一個人帶出他的國家，但你永遠無法把國家帶出他的心裡，應該就是這個樣子吧。
