We have always noticed D'Laksa in some of the major shopping malls but never tried it until last weekend.
Verdict? Very balanced Asam Laksa in terms of flavor - might be a little sweet for some because they give quite a lot of prawn paste. Just ask for less prawn paste if you want prefer a tangy taste.
Best of all, it's only RM7 a bowl. Probably one of the cheapest things you can eat in a mall yet feel filling and good about it.

D ' Laksa recipe is from Penang (the first branch in Johor) and they are famous for the Asam Laksa menu provided freshly at the stall every day. Every bowl of Asam Laksa is served in sufficient portion with thick fish pieces, vegetables and shrimp paste in sweet sour soup that is also slightly spicy... perghhhh it's the best!
The best thing is, the price is not expensive even though it is sold in shopping mall. If you want to eat fun you can try Asam Fishball and their Fruit Rojak - even the inexpensive is OK.
** Quantity of shrimp paste can be adjusted, can tell staff to reduce the less sweetness.
