My CNY 初一 dress is a little #青花瓷 patterned qipao, so I requested for matching nails from @glitzyfingers... IT'S SO PRETTY OMG DOES ANYONE HAVE NICER CNY NAILS THAN ME 😱😱😱

The designs are all freaking hand painted with the tiniest little paint brush, can you believe it? #notprintedok Done from 9pm till 11pm last night coz CNY period is so busy for all nail manicurists... Thank you so much @wanxin_belle for the painstaking work of art on my nails... Very sad that they will grow out and be gone in a month! even though today is officially the 2nd anniversary of my fan club Lawrence Wong 王冠逸 粉丝后援会, it’s actually been around wayyyy longer than that. fans come, and fans go. i’m grateful for all my fans around the world who believed in me, stood by me, supported me, and who are still here after all these years. i’m truly truly grateful. showbiz is hard, and it’s not uncommon for us artistes to want to give up once in a while. but you guys are and will always be my motivation. 🥰

i had a chance to gather and make neko nerikiri 🐈 with my Singapore fans two days ago at BakedbyWolf, courtesy of subzerowolfsea and it was so much fun! i treasure moments and memories like these with you guys and i hope that after covid, i’ll have a chance to meet fans from other parts of the world soon. and thank you so so much for all the thoughtful gifts filled with love: from learning how to paint just so that i can have a hand-painted piece of art, to wooden hand-carved portrait, to handmade plush dolls, pottery and cards, and all the little knickknacks that i love. just so so much love. i’ll treasure all these forever. thank you.

Heading to the Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art—the Met Gala— celebrating the opening of the exhibit ‘Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination.’
Lana Del Rey wore a custom Gucci long sleeve silk cady and lace gown inspired by Our Lady of Sorrows by Alessandro Michele. The bodice features ‘The Seven Sorrows of Mary’ with the initials ‘LDR’ on the sacred heart. The skirt features hand stitched gold metal and colored silk thread embroidery inspired by baroque floral motifs and daggers with a pleated tulle and lace underskirt. Completing the look is a handmade headpiece with blue and white painted feathers and crystal halo, ivory satin loafers with embroidered lotus and handmade antique glass stick representing the eyes of Saint Lucy.

If you are a beginner, it's better to purchase not expensive watercolors and other supplies. I sometimes use a children paint set. It makes me feel so free. Then you can finally enjoy watercolor.

There are many people who ask me which brushes are the preferred brushes to use for beginners.
- My answer to them is that all the brushes are great to use and compliment each other. My brushes are not expensive to purchase, they cost around $1-4 USD, some prices may vary on the different brushes used duo to special use of each brush. Remember that with each brush you use you will have a different experience and a range of different feeling. The important thing is that you and the brush work as one to find the balance between creation and skill. The artist's hand is very important in making the painting and to feel the way the water on the brush moves as the brush creates the ultimate master piece.

❖Improve your painting skills
Sometimes people ask me that they've been painting for months, but they think nothing improved.
- Well, I want to say that I have been painted for 15 years and I enjoy my painting every moment. If you enjoy your painting, that is the right way to go forward. Don't be hurry. You just need time. Now you keep improving your painting skill.
