The Executive Chef Massimiliano Musso of Michelin one star restaurant in Italy, which has awarded the honor for over twenty consecutive years, will be invited as guest chef starting May 23rd dinner by #LaRotisserie Restaurant. The chef Musso has poked behind his grandma cooking in kitchen and wished to become a chef like her since he was a kid. His dishes made are always the reflections of his longing for his grandma.

Over ninety years, Ristorante Albergo Ca' Vittoria has turned from a small bistro into a restaurant that won Michelin one star rating for over twenty consecutive years.

Starting from May 23rd (Thu.) dinner to May 26th(Sun.) for four days only, the Michelin one star chef Massimiliano Musso will present his Italian gourmet delicacies from three generations of inheritance at La Rotisserie Restaurant of Palais de Chine Hotel.

Decided on New Teck Kee Chicken Rice for their signature chicken rice. If you are particular about chilli and the rice just like me, this is your best bet. Juicy tender white chicken with yummy garlic-chilli sauce! Other accompanying dishes are just as good - zi char dishes are the most appetising!!! Prices are super reasonable as well!

Took a turn round the corner into Acqua e Farina for some authentic Italian food fare and to check out their Christmas Special Menu! Chef Roberto Galbiati (formerly owner of Galbiati Gourmet Deli) politely came forth to introduce the dishes from their Xmas sets.

Their Tacchino Ripieno - boneless turkey slice stuffed with chestnuts and mushrooms is a MUST TRY, with the chestnuts adding an extra crunch to the bite of the tender turkey.
Black spaghetti with salmon and pink peppercorn tossed in saffron sauce is the other dish I got to savour. I was pleasantly surprised by how the squid ink pasta taste was neutralized by the saffron sauce, making it less fishy and super flavourful!! A glass of white sauvignon blanc also made everything complete! 🍷
A truly Italian experience, this place is a great choice if you would like to host your Christmas meals! WIN!

今夜はB級グルメの宝庫、名古屋めしの代表「あんかけスパ」です！愛知県名古屋市にある『スパゲッティハウスヨコイ錦店』にお邪魔しました！あんかけスパゲッティといえば名古屋を代表するB級グルメですが、こちらの『スパゲッティハウスヨコイ』はその元祖として有名なお店です！栄の本店をはじめ、名古屋市内に100店舗以上を持つ地元にもファンが多いこの店。店の味の要になるミートソース餡掛けには非常にこだわりがあります！たまねぎやにんじん、ニンニクジャガイモを茹でて裏ごしし、2種類のトマトソースと牛バラミンチを入れてオーブンで12時間煮込みます。煮込んだミートソースを冷蔵庫で10日間熟成させて作り上げる極上ミートソースあん…！これがたっぷりかかった同店の看板メニュー「ミラカン」と大きなエビフライがドーンと乗った「ノブナガ・あんかけ鉄砲スパゲッティ』を頂きました！さあそれではその実際の模様をどうぞご覧下さい！
Tonight is a treasure trove of Class B gourmet, “Ankake Spa,” a representative of Nagoya Meshi! We visited "Spaghetti House Yokoi Nishiki" in Nagoya, Aichi! Speaking of Ankake Spaghetti is a B-grade gourmet representing Nagoya, but this “Spaghetti House Yokoi” is famous as its original! This store has more than 100 local stores in Nagoya, including Sakae's main store. We have a very particular commitment to the meat sauce topping that is the cornerstone of the store! Boil onions, carrots, and garlic potatoes, add 2 kinds of tomato sauce and beef ball mince and boil in the oven for 12 hours. Superb meat sauce made by aging the cooked meat sauce in the refrigerator for 10 days! We had the signboard menu “Mirakan” with plenty of this and “Nobunaga Ankake Gun Spaghetti” with a large shrimp fried on it! Please take a look at the actual pattern!
