Throwback to 2018...
I had just decided on moving to the US to study music.
I got to play at Chess Taipei, one of the most popular hip hop clubs - it was a big milestone for me back then.
I moved to LA in September and one of my goals was to play “at least one show” here.
Fast forward to now.
I played 2 shows in SXSW, 3 in New York City, in LA I played Lock and Key, Los Globos, and many more.
(There’s a huge show that I can’t even announce yet coz it got pushed back😔)
I’m not a resident DJ anywhere, but I played 50 shows last year.
I’m so proud of all the progress I’ve made and I honestly cannot believe how far I’ve come.
Reading about Law of Attraction and manifestation lately has helped me understand a lot of things.
I’m amazed at how hard the universe has been working while I was putting in the work at the same time.
One of my favorite quotes is “She created a life she wanted.”
And looking back now I realize I’ve been doing it all along.
I created a life I wanted.
Being here, having a supportive community, making music, playing shows, and connecting with people.
This is what I love.
This is the life I want.
Although things are tough right now, I have to constantly remind myself that I’m doing this FOR THE MUSIC. NOT FOR THE FAME.
My ultimate goal is to make others happy and be able to connect with others through my music.
I am taking all this alone time to focus on what I really love and really want out of this life, making plans to achieve my goals regarding personal growth, my career, and my community.
I truly believe that I am the creator of my own reality, and I’m only going to experience bigger and better things in the future!
