LeBron James is going home, great day for sports and NBA fans. He made the right decision.
LeBron's thoughts on returning home.
"Before anyone ever cared where I would play basketball, I was a kid from Northeast Ohio. It’s where I walked. It’s where I ran. It’s where I cried. It’s where I bled. It holds a special place in my heart. People there have seen me grow up. I sometimes feel like I’m their son. Their passion can be overwhelming. But it drives me. I want to give them hope when I can. I want to inspire them when I can. My relationship with Northeast Ohio is bigger than basketball. I didn’t realize that four years ago. I do now.
Remember when I was sitting up there at the Boys & Girls Club in 2010? I was thinking, This is really tough. I could feel it. I was leaving something I had spent a long time creating. If I had to do it all over again, I’d obviously do things differently, but I’d still have left. Miami, for me, has been almost like college for other kids. These past four years helped raise me into who I am. I became a better player and a better man. I learned from a franchise that had been where I wanted to go. I will always think of Miami as my second home. Without the experiences I had there, I wouldn’t be able to do what I’m doing today.
I went to Miami because of D-Wade and CB. We made sacrifices to keep UD. I loved becoming a big bro to Rio. I believed we could do something magical if we came together. And that’s exactly what we did! The hardest thing to leave is what I built with those guys. I’ve talked to some of them and will talk to others. Nothing will ever change what we accomplished. We are brothers for life. I also want to thank Micky Arison and Pat Riley for giving me an amazing four years.
I’m doing this essay because I want an opportunity to explain myself uninterrupted. I don’t want anyone thinking: He and Erik Spoelstra didn’t get along. … He and Riles didn’t get along. … The Heat couldn’t put the right team together. That’s absolutely not true.
I’m not having a press conference or a party. After this, it’s time to get to work.
When I left Cleveland, I was on a mission. I was seeking championships, and we won two. But Miami already knew that feeling. Our city hasn’t had that feeling in a long, long, long time. My goal is still to win as many titles as possible, no question. But what’s most important for me is bringing one trophy back to Northeast Ohio.
I always believed that I’d return to Cleveland and finish my career there. I just didn’t know when. After the season, free agency wasn’t even a thought. But I have two boys and my wife, Savannah, is pregnant with a girl. I started thinking about what it would be like to raise my family in my hometown. I looked at other teams, but I wasn’t going to leave Miami for anywhere except Cleveland. The more time passed, the more it felt right. This is what makes me happy.
To make the move I needed the support of my wife and my mom, who can be very tough. The letter from Dan Gilbert, the booing of the Cleveland fans, the jerseys being burned -- seeing all that was hard for them. My emotions were more mixed. It was easy to say, “OK, I don’t want to deal with these people ever again.” But then you think about the other side. What if I were a kid who looked up to an athlete, and that athlete made me want to do better in my own life, and then he left? How would I react? I’ve met with Dan, face-to-face, man-to-man. We’ve talked it out. Everybody makes mistakes. I’ve made mistakes as well. Who am I to hold a grudge?
I’m not promising a championship. I know how hard that is to deliver. We’re not ready right now. No way. Of course, I want to win next year, but I’m realistic. It will be a long process, much longer than it was in 2010. My patience will get tested. I know that. I’m going into a situation with a young team and a new coach. I will be the old head. But I get a thrill out of bringing a group together and helping them reach a place they didn’t know they could go. I see myself as a mentor now and I’m excited to lead some of these talented young guys. I think I can help Kyrie Irving become one of the best point guards in our league. I think I can help elevate Tristan Thompson and Dion Waiters. And I can’t wait to reunite with Anderson Varejao, one of my favorite teammates.
But this is not about the roster or the organization. I feel my calling here goes above basketball. I have a responsibility to lead, in more ways than one, and I take that very seriously. My presence can make a difference in Miami, but I think it can mean more where I’m from. I want kids in Northeast Ohio, like the hundreds of Akron third-graders I sponsor through my foundation, to realize that there’s no better place to grow up. Maybe some of them will come home after college and start a family or open a business. That would make me smile. Our community, which has struggled so much, needs all the talent it can get.
In Northeast Ohio, nothing is given. Everything is earned. You work for what you have.
I’m ready to accept the challenge. I’m coming home."

但入面我講到，大學仍然係要讀嘅。我當然係講錢，至於咩追求知識嘅獨立思考呀不在討論之列，事實上我幾肯定你拎啲錢同學費去睇書會好啲
或者如舊文講：你睇我啲文肯定獲益多過你讀啲濕鳩Taught Master。仲唔使錢添。仲可以在公司睇添。
總之，我讀書叻撚過好多人，香港得一間大學我都仲入到，但我確信對絕大部分人嚟講，大學就係沙紙，入場券，最低資格，職業介紹所，好投資。堅持講咩學曉獨立思考 團隊精神（一齊做project 學榮耀自己拎或者做free rider 嘅，不妨個個假想實驗：你唔好拎張沙紙，唔畀你提個學位，制唔制？你咪拎你啲獨立思考見工。
獨立思考下話？素人父母疫苗撚湯禎兆林綸詩兩公婆都大學生，一流大學唔係野雞買學位廢拉科。NBA個 Uncle Drew Kyrie Irving名校 Duke 添，不過話地球係平嘅。順勢療法水晶能量撚周兆祥係博士添
現實係果啲咩「大學本意」同「支那本義」「納粹敬禮本意」一樣咁離地。半世紀前講都仲得，而家阿豬阿狗都大學啦，邊使咁多人學術研究。而另一方面大把知識唔使讀大學都拎到。對唔送薄餅嘅絕大多數人嚟講，大學學主要（甚至唯一用途）就係沙紙，入場券，最低資格，職業介紹所，好投資。
咁有人反駁話而家又有最低工資，大學生一街都係，讀大學都冇意思，出到嚟人工唔見得高過藍領或服務業。呢排更加講開譚仔阿姐人工高過普通大學生
其實好簡單，又係供求，況且，邊個話你知大學生一定巴閉過譚仔阿姐？但掉轉講，譚仔阿姐再做都係阿姐，大學生十年加幾倍唔係出奇。
咁其實我唔係數據流，正係因為讀精算出身更加憎呢啲嘢。但咁啱有文有圖用，就講下

兩位作者啲文我唔特別鍾意，但呢篇寫得幾好。首先呢，佢地之前做過研究，香港學生嘅PISA評估成績，同屋企環境，關係唔係太大。
但呢篇就講之後，講人工，講入大學機會。個分嘢係呢度先見到 （其實我覺得出嚟做嘢之後果幾年分得仲大）
佢地今次係計在職青年，青年係指20-29歲。首先，一街大學生，好似未係好真。有大學學位嘅青年，四成（包晒後來逢三進一副學士再上或者外國讀嘅）。冇嘅，六成。
而其實好明顯見到，讀大學嗰堆，人工係高過冇大學嘅。你計埋讀大學嘅時間科乾咗三年（而家四年？）人工，都係抵嘅。
況且，香港大學學費，其實唔貴。又鬧？香港嘅大學學費，由我讀開始都好似冇加過。我在Warwick個Master？廿年加價四倍。
在日本同朋友嘅朋友食飯，佢呢個月大學畢業，要還學債。問佢還幾錢，答曰兩百美金。咁唔係太多，負擔到丫
但佢總共還幾多就精彩咯：答曰— 五百萬日元！ Five Million Yen！
我再三問清楚佢，寫埋出嚟，睇下佢有冇搞錯我有冇聽錯。五百萬？五十萬下話。但佢話真係五百萬。即係三十五萬港紙！
再問，佢話其實因為有埋利息（雖則我唔明做乜日元明明零息咁滯都咁貴息？可能佢借財仔，我冇問）。唔計利息，就三百五十萬。但都廿五萬！
但問返其他朋友，話差不多了，四年嘛，咪一年六七萬咯，貴過香港好多咯
又，都唔記得而家係四年，又爭好遠。即係孭多幾萬蚊債，又少一年收入，一來一回真係畀多十皮嘢—但其實有乜幫助呢，可？
無論如何，讀大學都係值得玩嘅投資，但我相信呢個優勢只會繼續消失。到有一日讀大學都唔化算嘅，再update 大家
