Today marks a dozen years of being hubby and wifey.If I were to say that through this time, I have figured out what marriage is all about, how to keep the spark going or how to be a good partner, that would be a lie.The truth is marriage is a constant work in progress and love is a journey, not a destination. There will be times when we question ourselves, when we feel exhausted and underappreciated, when we wonder if this is gonna be what its like for the rest of our lives. Even the past few weeks of staying home and seeing each other much more than usual can put a couples love and endurance to the test too, dont you agree?I dont think we will ever figure it all out, or maybe we will only have done so when we are both old and wrinkly. When that day comes, we will realise how lucky we are to still have each other by our side, for better or worse. Hopefully by then, we would have fulfilled our long-held dream of returning to Las Vegas sans kids, which was what we did on our honeymoon.For now, lets count our blessings more, be thankful for how far weve come and how much weve grown, try to accept and not annoy each other (which is quite impossible, haha), and learn to love harder and cherish deeper.Happy 12th Anniversary to us.P.S. 今天 La Prairie 邀請我一起欣賞詩集《A Dream of Eternity》當然要穿上我最喜歡的裙子去赴約
而這次詩集的主題剛好是『夢想、時間』

其實在時間裡最重要的就只有『當下』

我們常常會懊悔過去擔心未來
卻忘記真真切切在發生的『當下』

法國詩人Beaudelaire 曾說如果不想感覺到『時間流逝』會需要很多的美酒和詩歌
哈哈哈所以其實也不必太認真把人生想成我們贏來的一場旅行
而每寸光陰都是送給我們的禮物
用來品嚐到不同的滋味與領悟

最後我們就會發現原來時間不會把美好帶走
只是換了一種方式還給我們而已
