November. Amongst any other months, November is the hardest for me. November is the birthday month of my youngest brother and I. It’s the month where I first welcomed him to this world. It’s the month we used to share joy, celebrating our birthdays. It’s the month we used to exchange special birthday wishes for each other. This month of November used to be our month. For 28 years. But it’s no more!

November 2019. I no longer have my dearest brother beside me. I crave for him the most. I crave to say “Happy Birthday“ and give him cheek kisses. I crave to make birthday wishes to him and await his special wishes for me. @adamdidam I crave for you sayang. That’s all. Nothing more. Nothing less.

My dear brother Adamdidam This morning a year ago, I was sitting by your side as always. Holding your hands as always. Kissing your cheeks as always. Looking at your face as always. Little did I know that on that very morning, the Angel of Death was there too at your head and in a split second, your soul would be taken away. Not a minute late nor a minute early. And that time came as promised! Your pulse stopped. I lost you. Our family chain was broken.
. . .
When you left, I kept pondering upon my own ‘time’. My own death. What would it be like? Would it be as beautiful, as peaceful as yours? When would it be? Would it be in the blessed month of Ramadhan like yours? Who would be by my side? Would I be surrounded by my loved ones like you? How would my grave look like? Would it be as green, as serene as yours? No answer. What is the legacy that I would leave in this world? Would I be leaving good deeds like you? What would be my last sharing on social media? Would it be something good, something meaningful like you too? What would people know me by? Kind like you? Generous like you? Would they always remember me like they remember you? Make du’a for me like they do for you? No answer.
. . .
I haven’t seen you for a year now. I haven’t heard your voice for a year now. Your name hasn’t appeared on my phone screen for a year now. And this feeling in my heart now...I don’t know what’s it called...but everytime when I think of you and become tearful, in my heart, there’s serenity, there’s comfort...knowing that Allah has blessed you with such a beautiful ending. You have earned it my brother...just like how you said you wanted it! And with all the time I have left with me now, I must strive to earn a good ending like you too...so that I can join you. So that when I see you next...you and me will have a long tight hug and we will both say, “Alhamdulillah, we made it!” ♥️

Omar Mukhtar. This young boy is the coolness of my eyes. Not once did I not see a smile on his face. Whenever he sees me, he will greet me with a smile first before he utters a single word. It’s like he can always find a thousand reasons to smile...every time! His smile is a reflection of his calm, peaceful soul. MashaAllah.
Omar Mukhtar. This young boy went through a lot. He has on his shoulder great responsibilities. It is said, “With great power there comes great responsibility”. But for him, I would say, “With great responsibility there grows a great powerful person!” His acceptance towards his responsibilities is a reflection of his kind, loving soul. MashaAllah.
Omar Mukhtar. This young boy is a blessing from Allah to us. He makes our hearts lighter and worry a little less. 2nd September 2020 marks 14 years since his birth. There is no best birthday gift in the world to the world's most best person, except du’as that Allah keeps him safe from all kind of evil, grants him countless barakah in life, showers him with endless mercy, and blesses him with a beautiful life ahead. Aameen ya Allah.
Omar Mukhtar. This post is for you. Those words are meant for you. Special for you. There is a lot more left unsaid, but let’s keep that between the two of us. I love you. Unconditionally. I love you since 2006. I love you until forever ♥️

This boy is not Harry Potter. He is Omar Mukhtar, an ordinary boy who has no magical power whatsoever. But he had successfully made one of his dreams come true! And now for the first time ever, Mukhtar has made an exclusive tour in “Hogwarts”, the school of his dreams. Have you watched the video? Let me tell you why you should watch it...
When my nephew Omar Mukhtar told us one day that he wanted to study in King Edwards’s School, we got worried! KES is one of the leading academic schools in the UK, so it’s so tough to get a place there. We were so concerned that Mukhtar might not be able to get in due to very high competition. We were concerned that Mukhtar might get disappointed! Little did we know that Allah has already planned something great for him, as a reward for his hard work and his kindness. So Mukhtar went for a test to get a place in KES and he passed. He was called for an interview at KES for a scholarship and he was successful. Mukhtar got a full scholarship to study at KES. MashaAllah. All praise is due to Allah.
People know that Mukhtar is a KES student, but what they don’t know is all the sacrifices he made to achieve his dream. There are so many behind-the-scene stories about my nephew and his “secrets” of success. How he cared for his ill mother from a very young age. How he sacrificed his own childhood time to care for Fatimah & Ali. How hard he had to juggle between his roles as a son, as a big brother, and as a student, all at the same time. It was truly a bumpy road for Mukhtar to be where he is now!
So that’s why you should watch & share the video. Would you care to show my nephew your kind support please? I thank each one of you so much in advance for your kind support towards my nephew Mukhtar ?? And don’t forget to subscribe!

I want to share a story with you. I was having fun watching the YouTube video where Fatimah & Ali were speaking in Malay using the so-called “KL” dialect, (according to them). I was burst out laughing. I watched it again with my parents and we ended up giggling! And I watched it over and over again…
Not only that I was so joyful to see Fatimah’s back in action, but I was amazed by the kids’ confidence level! Frankly speaking, Mukhtar, Fatimah & Ali only speaks Malay using Kelantan dialect. They were not taught to speak other kinds of Malay. Let me tell you why…
When Mukhtar was 3-4 years, he was only able to speak in English. He could understand Malay, but he couldn’t speak the language. Thereafter, Mrs Mom & Mr Dad spotted a huge problem – Mukhtar couldn’t communicate well with our elderly family members in Kelantan, who cannot speak English and only speak Kelantan dialect.
So my sister and her husband both decided that they must teach their son to speak Malay – specifically Kelantan dialect! Why? I still remember when I first asked my sister about it, and she confidently said, “I want Mukhtar to respect the elders. They can’t speak English, so be it! I don’t want them to adapt to my son and struggle to speak English with him or adjust their tongues to speak a different Malay dialect with him. I want my son to adapt to them and speak the language they speak. They’re our elders. That’s our roots, and I want my son to respect that. To the rest of the people who don’t understand Kelantan dialect, let him speak English with them.”
I totally agree! The same concept was applied to Fatimah & Ali. Now the 3 kids speak and understand Kelantan dialect fluently. No matter what, respect the elders is key.
In the video, Fatimah & Ali were having fun playing with the self-taught KL words! How confident is that ? Don’t forget to watch it. Please kindly show your support to my two-and-only accidental twins??

Here’s something special for you today. I’m sharing with you one powerful du’a that was taught to me a while ago when I was struggling with trials and calamities in life.
. . .
I pray that Allah allows us to memorise this du’a and apply it in our daily lives in order to get His protection. May He make things easy for me and for you. Aameen?
