For the Arles 2018 edition, in the south of France, Dior The Art of Color presented the first Dior Photography Award for young talents. Hosted by Luma Arles and in partnership with the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie, this 1st edition presents the creations of students and young alumni from 8 international prestigious art schools. They were invited to create around a theme that is part of Dior Makeup DNA: “Woman-women faces” and were lead by three keywords: COLOUR, FEMININITY, BEAUTY.

“My biggest interest is capturing my generation,” said Ms Yoonkyung Jang, a 23 years old student at Chung-Ang University in Seoul and winner of the first prize of the Dior Photography Award for Young Talents. Her poetic and melancholic work draws a very personal vision of the South Korean young generation. Sharing the passion of Dior makeup for colours and beauty, MS Yoonkyung presents incredible aesthetic qualities and colour knowledge that have been pointed out by the prestigious jury of the event, presided by Peter Lindbergh.
