Solo-parenting starts from now 😰

My hub and I had never spent more than a week apart since the day we got together. Yes for 16 years we were stuck to each other like koala and eucalyptus.
So yesterday he flew off to Austria and will be spending almost half a month there for work leaving me with 2 wild animals🐴🐵 . For all parents on the same boat, let’s embrace and say a silent prayer, may we mourn for the loss of my sanity.

Childhood is fleeting, I’m trying to enjoy as much while it last.

Remembering the times when I breastfeed during my kid’s first year was a tough yet fulfilling journey. I was an exclusive pumping mummy thus pumping round the clock just to build up my supply wasn’t an easy feat. There were many beyond exhausted moments and countless sleepless nights just to make sure my little ones received the best. I started introducing full cream cow’s milk after 12 months and semi-solids when Travis turned 6 months old. With the gradual transition Travis was taking in more formula milk and solid food at the 10 month mark and eventually I managed to get him on full cream cow’s milk when he turns to Big One.

For new mums that are planning to introduce full cream cow’s milk after 12 months, do gradually ease your little bubs into lesser ratio of formula milk to full cream cow’s milk.
