On my first test run my car was too loud 1db over the limit so they black flagged me after one lap. Unfortunately I blew sound again at this morning’s race so I went from starting 8th to starting last again for the final race. I had to battle through a bunch of Alfa Romeo’s. Had an especially long battle with the red #120 car which you see here. At one point I pass him at turn 1 but then on turn 4 I didn’t unwind the wheel enough coming out of the turn that threw me into a hairy fish tail which gave the Alfa a chance to pass me as I was saving myself from crashing. I caught up to him on lap six when he went wide on turn 2 and a slipped by on the inside. The 7th place 510 driven by my Argentinian friend Daniel was too far ahead to catch so I ended up 8th right where I ended up yesterday. I started in 9th position and finished 5th pretty happy about that. Racing vintage cars is totally different than running a modern car. There is no power steering, no abs, no traction control to save you ass. Although I am slower in this car than the Honda TC car or my GT3, it is super intense because it is so raw.
