Prevention is better than cure. I’ve heard bout GDM and my dad is a diabetic patient, so I’m on the high risk of getting it. So managing my diet is crucial during pregnancy. And especially with the pandemic, I am less active as compared to when I was working. So too much of weight gained during pregnancy is also something I need to avoid (or control/ monitor). So far, glucose reading before fasting have been pretty good at 4.6-4.8 mmol/L. I make sure I drink sufficient water and workout at least 3-4 times a week, 30mins to one hour for each session. Sweet dessert and drinks are in my NO-NO list, I don’t take coffee or tea too (Infact I’m not a lover of these beverages). Strictly no alcohol too 🥶 But ice cream, the cravings finally kicks in at 27 weeks (6months+). Glad we found this guilt - free ice cream place. Healthier choice without compromising on its taste. Super delicious and tasty! Love their Salted Choc & Pistachio 😋😋😋 So satisfying!🤪
🤰🏻If you haven try them, you should! Better than the usual BR!
