STUDIO LÀ GÌ?
Nhiều đồng nghiệp có studio sạch đẹp như một phòng lab, đông đúc trợ lý như một nhà xưởng, hoặc bụi bặm đất cát như một công trường. Nghệ thuật đương đại đa dạng về hình thức lẫn chất liệu, khiến khái niệm "studio" cũng trở nên phong phú hơn.
Với tôi, studio là nơi tôi chìm vào những suy tưởng của riêng mình mà không cần đối thoại hay giải thích cho một ai khác. Studio không hẳn là "nhà", không có sự hiện diện của gia đình hay người thân ở đây. Studio là nội tâm, là sự riêng tư tuyệt đối.

Thi thoảng, tôi mở studio cho bạn bè đến chơi, như là mình đang mở phơi lòng mình ra trong chốc lát vậy...

WHAT IS AN ARTIST'S STUDIO?
Some of my colleagues have their studios clean like a science lab, some have them crowded like a factory, and some have their workplaces full of dirt like a construction site. Contemporary art is so diverse in form and medium, that makes the definition of "studio" become much more liberal.
For me, the studio is a place where I immerse in my own thoughts without dialogue or explaination to others. Studio is not necessarily a "home". There is no need of family members here. Studio is my inner self, my ultimate privacy.

Sometimes, I open my studio and invite friends to come over, as I expose myself to them for a while...
