來自香港的新銳機能單位Nilmance，設計師是名不折不扣的重度軍裝迷，可以看見許多Vintage的細節建構在科技布料與工序之上，例如Arorak的前襟抽繩、衍縫鋪棉的方式以及口袋的形體等等，都清楚地透露出設計師深度的軍裝成癮背景。
在製衣產業愈10年經驗的他對於Nilmance的「本質」更是格外要求，多採用日本機能布料製作，以達防潑水、防風但仍保持透氣甚至抑菌的功能性。成熟的雷射切割、防水貼條技術更是將布料的質感完整的發揮並相互襯托，造就Nilmance單品的高完成度，18春夏部分單品已少量到貨，歡迎前來實著體驗，或於網路上參考細節圖。

ABOUT NILMANCE
The core design philosophy of Nilmance is based on needs and functions. Designer takes inspiration from daily lives, by observing the interaction between garments and human movements. Whilst challenging the industrial impression of traditional functional clothing, the designs of Nilmance demonstrates a perfect integration between technology and the day-to-day wardrobe. Nilmance excels at striking a balance between fashion and durability by drawing subtle attentions on cuttings with immense attention paid onto details and a sleek, low-key aesthetic, the Nilmance designs are something deserved to be well observed.
THE BACKGROUND
Hailed from the UK, Nilmance was founded in 2016 by University of the Arts London women’s wear graduate Mike Yeung when he returned to his home town Hong Kong. With over 10 years of experience in manufacturing designs with a function-focused garments, Nilmance has become a sought-after collaborator with various renowned fashion brands in Asia and Europe.
THE MATRTIAL
The highlight material used by Nilmance, fabrics serves the purpose of water-resistance, the lightweight yet durable material was created especially for an urban city wardrobe. With functional fabrics, the Nilmance designs are served as an ideal for the an ever-changing climate and environment.
