由京都的燈籠製造商所製作
上面刻有漢字「雷門」
燈籠高3.9公尺 寬3.3公尺
重量更有約700公斤
底部有精細的龍形雕刻
在燈籠旁 聳立著兩尊雕像
左側的雕像是雷神
右側則是風神
祂們保佑淺草寺免受
風雨、洪水、火災損害
據說是兩位相當慈悲的神明
