The 74th British Academy Film Awards featured several attendees in Dior men's looks by Kim Jones. Winning Outstanding Debut by a British Writer, Director or Producer for 'His House', Remi Weekes chose a 'Modern Tailoring' black notch lapel suit, white cotton shirt and black derbies with 'Dior Oblique' detail, while musician Atticus Ross, winning Best Original Score for 'Soul', sported a shawl collar tuxedo, white cotton shirt, black silk tie and patent leather derbies. Among the other nominees and presenters were Ladj Ly, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Sope Dirisu. Meanwhile, arriving at the Latin American Music Awards, singer Ricky Martin wore a white coat, multicolor 'Dior and Kenny Scharf' silk shirt, blue wool pants, 'Dior and Kenny Scharf' earring and 'Dior Explorer' boots, all Pre-Fall 2021.

【《MS》28風華盡在華視 流行與經典動漫音樂再創哈日新風潮】

深受日本年輕人喜愛的流行音樂節目，已在日本屹立了28年地位的《MUSIC STATION》，至今播出破千集，一直以來都是日本偶像歌手們爭搶且重視的打歌節目，自2013年暫停播放後，被熱情台灣粉絲擠爆留言板，表示希望能再有機會看到《MS》播映，經曼迪傳播多方奔走促成下，終於不負眾望於華視5/4(日)晚上8點首播，一次播映2小時，未來的每周日晚上八點也可於華視與日迷們最愛的日本偶像歌手相會。

登場的日本偶像團體有目前最具話題性的當紅樂團---超失控視覺系空氣樂團「金爆GOLDEN BOMBER」和到目前為止還不知真面目的狼人樂團「MAN WITH A MISSION」，甚至有多位傑尼斯旗下藝人團體：SMAP、Kis-My-Ft2、TOKIO、嵐、Hey! Say! 《MUSIC STATION》也常被稱為「Mステ」，是朝日電視台每週五晚上8點現場直播一小時的音樂節目，形式與美國TRL和英國British Top of the Pops相似，主要提供歌曲排名和其他小單元的節目，現任主持人為節目主持人兼搞笑藝人的塔摩利（タモリ），他從1987年起擔任該節目的主持，至今已主持27年，超過一千多集，他的招牌墨鏡打扮更多次被多位嘉賓歌手模仿；副主持人則為朝日電視台新人女主播---弘中綾香。

從1986年10月24日開播至今，許多日本歌手和組合都會選擇在Music Station上作首次公開演出，宇多田光剛出道時，曾在《MUSIC STATION》登場，演唱「First Love」，關東地區當天節目收視率高達26.5%、關西地區則高達28.7%，表示超過55%的日本人當天同一時間共同觀賞此節目，成為本節目史上最高收視率，也因此捧紅了宇多田光，此節目的地位由此可見一斑！2011年3月11日日本發生東日本大地震，因此日本《MUSIC STATION》更因此在2011年3月18日更為此做了特別企劃，表現出日本人對此節目的重視有多大。

《MUSIC STATION》更揚名海外，台灣五月天在海外知名度提升之際，也曾參與演出，由此可見，必須在海外有一定的知名度才有機會登上《MUSIC STATION》的舞台，更有許多世界級的偶像歌手選擇在本節目中做表演，增取在亞洲曝光率！其中的知名歌手不乏艾薇兒、女神卡卡、碧昂絲等，因為《MUSIC STATION》主要以日本的最新流行音樂為節目內容，所以每每在日本以外地區播出也即造轟動，期待在台也能夠有不錯的佳績！

RIP sir George , one of greatest!!!

I’m so sad to hear the news of the passing of dear George Martin. I have so many wonderful memories of this great man that will be with me forever. He was a true gentleman and like a second father to me. He guided the career of The Beatles with such skill and good humour that he became a true friend to me and my family. If anyone earned the title of the fifth Beatle it was George. From the day that he gave The Beatles our first recording contract, to the last time I saw him, he was the most generous, intelligent and musical person I’ve ever had the pleasure to know.

It’s hard to choose favourite memories of my time with George, there are so many but one that comes to mind was the time I brought the song 'Yesterday’ to a recording session and the guys in the band suggested that I sang it solo and accompany myself on guitar. After I had done this George Martin said to me, "Paul I have an idea of putting a string quartet on the record". I said, “Oh no George, we are a rock and roll band and I don’t think it’s a good idea”. With the gentle bedside manner of a great producer he said to me, "Let us try it and if it doesn’t work we won’t use it and we’ll go with your solo version". I agreed to this and went round to his house the next day to work on the arrangement.

He took my chords that I showed him and spread the notes out across the piano, putting the cello in the low octave and the first violin in a high octave and gave me my first lesson in how strings were voiced for a quartet. When we recorded the string quartet at Abbey Road, it was so thrilling to know his idea was so correct that I went round telling people about it for weeks. His idea obviously worked because the song subsequently became one of the most recorded songs ever with versions by Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, Ray Charles, Marvin Gaye and thousands more.

This is just one of the many memories I have of George who went on to help me with arrangements on 'Eleanor Rigby', 'Live and Let Die' and many other songs of mine.

I am proud to have known such a fine gentleman with such a keen sense of humour, who had the ability to poke fun at himself. Even when he was Knighted by the Queen there was never the slightest trace of snobbery about him.

My family and I, to whom he was a dear friend, will miss him greatly and send our love to his wife Judy and their kids Giles and Lucy, and the grandkids.

The world has lost a truly great man who left an indelible mark on my soul and the history of British music.

God bless you George and all who sail in you!
