While I was at Broadcast Asia I was able to check up on the new BMPCC4k that will be sold later this year. Its quite an interesting camera with a lot of great features for quite an affordable price. The camera will be able to film up to 4k 60p and has a similar sensor to the one inside of the Panasonic GH5s. Its quite the improvement it has gotten over the previous Pocket which I had bought before. Even though its called a pocket its not pocketable, but it does pack quite the features and making this small camera even able to compete with the larger cinema camera with its performance. Especially the new features of enabling recording over USB-C is an interesting option as it enable recording over larger SSD drives at a far lower cost then C-Fast or SD cards options. I am quite looking forward to get this camera my self later this year when the shipping starts.

In this quick 4 minute tutorial we are teaching you how to achieve a handwriting animation inside of Davinci Resolve 15. No need of animating polygon masks at all, but a much faster method with Mask Paint, painting the whole animation how you want it to move making it quite easy with even the most outlandish handwriting fonts.

I went out and rented a Blackmagic Micro Cinema Camera to see if I would purchase it or use it in future projects as this is quite an affordable camera that can do 1080p 50/60 in DNG RAW 3:1, but it is far from a perfect camera with a lot of issues, that can be resolved getting additional products.

Also spread out in this video are a lot new effects you can expect to be released in the near future. Also all the product shots were shot with a Sony RX100III as I kinda wanted to see how well this small camera can do this.
