(English version below)
THE SIGHTINGS OF MASTER DAI HU 3
......................
How does an accomplished life come about? An accomplished life happens when a person does serious reflections about the people and things he/she encounters every day in his life. He then tells him/herself that he/she will definitely do better and more perfectly next time. I, Master Dai Hu, hold fast to this standard in igniting my inner light, with which I shine towards all sentient beings I have affinity with, so that they too can sooner ignite their inner light and increase their wisdom. Then, they can bring benefits to themselves as well as others, and endure no sufferings of being with people they dislike and separating from loved ones. They will only experience Heaven, not Hell. What I am saying is I wish everyone of you to have the good fortune of heavenly blessings at the very least.
I recalled imparting knowledge of face reading in my previous writings. Many years ago, upon a recommendation by my disciple, a young couple came to seek my advice on their future. Before the actual meet up, the lady rang me, and told me politely and sincerely from whom she got to know me, and why she wanted my advice. Later, I learnt that she wished for me to advise her husband on his career.
During the meeting, I asked them to draw the layout of their love nest clearly on a piece of paper, and gave them my professional opinion. The lady then told me they had previously engaged a Feng Shui master to audit their love nest. However, based on her drawing, and what I gathered from my questions, the Feng Shui was obviously not done up completely.
Because of my “live” performance, both of them unanimously invited me to do a Feng Shui audit for their love nest, so as to plan afresh.
On the day of the Feng Shui audit, I remembered having at least 2 disciples that came along with me. Thus there were definitely witness to the many highlights of my Feng Shui audit process that day. My Feng Shui planning service is sought after by many people, eager for my advice on their homes, factories, offices, retail stores, etc. The reason is due to me always doing my best dedication and giving them sufficient time, as well as a free lesson on Feng Shui knowledge.
I did ask some of my clients the reason why they did not look for other masters. Their reply was that I was very patient, very meticulous, and accurate in my Feng Shui audits, and results were evident, etc.
This couple also wished to have children luck, thus I set up a Feng Shui formation in their bedroom. In front of everyone, I made the prediction that they would be expecting soon. One day, they treated me to a meal. It turned out that the wife was indeed pregnant. I observed the aura of the husband and again, boldly predicted that they would have a daughter. Sometime later, I received a call from them, confirming my prediction, and also requesting that I pen the name for their daughter.
There was this young married lady, pretty and cute but with a somewhat fiery temper, who came looking for me upon a recommendation by her colleague, also a client of mine. This lady wished for me to bestow blessings and auspiciousness to their home. In addition to the Feng Shui audit, she and her husband also requested for me to give them good Chinese names and analyse their luck cycles. They also engaged me to conduct consecration and enshrinement for the Bodhisattva's statue in their home altar.
On one occasion, they had to travel and unable to pay homage to the Heavenly Jade Emperor on His holy birthday. They handed me their house keys and asked for my help to do the prayers on their behalf. Here, I would like to thank them for their trust and great kindness.
Once, I was dining with this couple when to my horror, I noticed something amiss with the wife. Her aura was abnormal. Upon probing, I realised that the company she was working for mandated that their sales staff to consume a talisman frequently. I, Master Dai Hu, strongly advised everyone against consuming talisman randomly. If the person who draws the talisman harbour evil intentions, the consequences for the one who consumes it are unimaginable!
Upon my advice to stop the talisman consumption, coupled with me beseeching the light blessings from the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, the lady’s facial aura finally restored to a healthy equilibrium.

Boy meets girl at high school. They grow up and drift apart. Such are the elementary and timeless ingredients with which Taiwan novelist-turned-director Giddens Ko whips up the playful retro coming-of-age film You Are the Apple of My Eye.
Based on Ko’s real-life romance novel The Girl We Chased Together in Those Years (same as the film’s Chinese title), the film is guaranteed to be loved by those who have an appetite for a bit of juvenile fun.
Newbie actor Ko Cheng-tung plays Ko Ching-teng, a teenage boy whose life revolves around hanging out with school buddies Boner, Cock, Groin and A-Ho–the bad boys of Ching-Cheng High in Changhua, central-west Taiwan.
They all have a crush on Shen Chia-yi (Michelle Chen), an honor student in their class, who falls for Ko only.
Yet Ko, afraid of being rejected, cannot bring himself to ask Shen to be his girlfriend.
Their love continues after the two go to different colleges until one night, a big fight puts an end to their youthful romance. Several years later, Ko, now a writer, and his high school mates watch Shen walking down the aisle with another man, appearing as beautiful as they remember.
With a well-selected cast and a brisk pace, Giddens Ko’s effort manages to keep up a high level of energy throughout the film and he captures adolescent urges with a fun, manga-esque punch.
Also, the puppy love story would be less convincing if not for the two leading actors, who convey youthful innocence with effortlessness.
The film is at its best when it reminds viewers of their adolescent years. The 33-year-old director has repeatedly said the film isn’t only about his own youth, but everyone’s.
It might remind us of something silly or reckless we did at a young age. It might remind us that our youth isn’t all perfect – like Ko and Chen’s.
But to the core, it reminds us that our youth, as imperfect as it can be, has made us the people we are today. And for that, we should smile a smile of understanding.
