ถ้าคุณได้ดูภาพยนตร์เปิดตัว Assassin's Creed Valhalla คุณอาจจะสังเกตเห็นว่า ในภาคนี้มีการใช้ Hidden Blade ด้วย แต่มันไม่ได้ "Hidden" อีกต่อไปแล้ว เพราะมันถูกคาดเอาไว้ที่แขนของ Eivor ตัวเอกหลักของภาคนี้ โดยโชว์ฝั่งใบมีดให้เห็นกันอย่างชัดเจน (ในขณะที่ภาคก่อนหน้ามันจะถูกซ่อนเอาไว้ใต้ท้องแขนของตัวละคร)

ซึ่งคุณ Ashraf Ismail ผู้กำกับฝ่ายสร้างสรรค์ของ Assassin's Creed Valhalla ได้ให้เหตุผลในเรื่องนี้ เอาไว้ดังนี้

"พวกเราสร้างเกมแฟนตาซีไวกิ้ง เราอยากจะให้ผู้เล่นใช้ชีวิตในบทบาทของนักรบไวกิ้ง และใช้ชีวิตภายในโลกแฟนตาซีนั้นอย่างเต็มที่ แต่นี่ก็เป็นโลกของ Assassin's Creed ด้วย และดังนั้น ในการเดินทาง Eivor จะได้พบเจอกับเหล่ามือสังหารด้วย ซึ่ง Eivor ไม่จำเป็นต้องรู้ว่ามือสังหารพวกนี้คืออะไร แต่ก็รู้ว่ามีข้อตกลงอะไรบางอย่างร่วมกัน ทำให้ Eivor ต้องทำงานด้วยกันกับคนเหล่านี้"

"และเมื่อถึงจุดหนึ่ง Eivor จะได้รับ Hidden Blade มา ที่เราก็ไม่ได้อยากจะสปอยล์เนื้อหาหรืออธิบายอะไรในตรงนี้ แต่มันคือสิ่งที่สำคัญมากๆ และเป็นส่วนสำคัญของการเดินทางในเกมนี้ และเมื่อ Eivor ได้รับ Hidden Blade มา เขาก็จะใช้มัน และเชื่อว่านี่มันเป็นอาวุธที่โคตรเจ๋ง แล้วทำไมคุณถึงอยากจะซ่อนมันจากศัตรูด้วยล่ะ?"
