我們誠摯感謝美國國會通過「臺北法案」，川普總統今天也正式簽署該案。美國政府再一次展現對臺灣的堅定支持。
這項法律目的在於協助臺灣維持並且擴展其國際空間，其中要求美國政府各部門協力來提升對台灣參與國際組織的支持。正值全球對抗疫情大流行之際，臺灣卻仍被排除在世界衛生組織之外，這項法案尤其重要。
我們期待深化與美國在各領域的關係及合作，更誠摯的相信，我們能一起努力促進雙方共享的民主、自由和公義的價值觀；無論是在亞太地區還是在世界各地。
對於美國政府及人民對我們的支持，再度表達真誠的感謝。
We warmly welcome and sincerely appreciate the TAIPEI Act passed by US Congress and signed into law by President Trump. Once again, the United States government has shown its staunch support for Taiwan.
The legislation signed today enables Taiwan to maintain and expand its presence in the international arena. The US would use a whole-of-government approach to ramp up its support for Taiwan’s participation in international organizations. This is particularly important when the whole world is combating COVID-19, but Taiwan is excluded from the WHO and sharing its best practices with the international community.
We look forward to deepening our ties and cooperation in all fields with the US. Together, we can promote the shared values of democracy, freedom and justice in the Asia-Pacific region as well as in the world.
The support of the government and people of the United States is immensely appreciated and cherished.
