Prayer should be your first resort to guarantee success—not a last resort after trying your best by the flesh. Your Bible misses you. God knows how you keep getting distracted, tapping other apps and evading your Bible app. Open your Bible and let God speak to you. When He speaks, the wisdom He releases also carries the authority and empowerment to prosper in that very thing. We need that rhema word to enjoy good success in every area of our lives.

The rhema word of God is the sword of the Spirit. It is a powerful spiritual weapon that cuts away the strongholds and attacks of Satan and his demons.

Our God is a powerful God who multiplied what is little into much. His strength is demonstrated perfectly in our weaknesses.

Today I want to speak declarative prayers with you. If you feel like you’re lacking in any of these areas, pray with me:

For finances: Dear Abba Father, I declare that my poverty is shifting to abundance of provision according to your riches in glory in Christ Jesus. I am becoming well-supplied so I can be a blessing to others and abound in generous, good works!

For health: Dear Abba Father, I declare that my sickness is shifting to overflowing resurrection life and health in my body. The law of the Spirit of Life governs my body, manifesting eternal life!

For marriage: Dear Abba Father, I declare that my estranged marriage is shifting to rivers of love. My marriage is becoming like how Jesus loves the church—self-sacrificial and unconditionally loving!

For singles: Dear Abba Father, I declare that my loneliness is shifting to a fulfillment in a God-appointed relationship. Thank You for arranging opportunities for me to meet a fellow believer who is good for me. I declare that this will not be a waste of time that leads to heartbreak—it shall be fruitful and lasting as I respect the covenant of marriage you designed.

For children: Dear Abba Father, I declare that my wayward child is shifting to a child who honors his parents and believes that he/she is God’s beloved. Our relationship is becoming better than ever before by your Grace!

For career/business: Dear Abba Father, I declare that my lackluster performance at work is shifting to excellence in skill and wisdom. You are blessing the work of my hands with Your favor and causing all Grace to abound towards me. Let my success at work glorify and testify of You!

For ministry: Dear Abba Father, I declare that my ineffective ministry is shifting to one that is filled with the preaching of the true Gospel, accompanied by Your powerful confirming signs and wonders, which lead to great harvests of souls for Your kingdom. Magnify and glory Jesus as I minister with greater anointing, revelation and grace gifts in the Holy Spirit!

For character: Dear Abba Father, I declare that the characters flaws I exhibit in my flesh are being replaced by the fruits of the Spirit. As I rest in Jesus’ finished work and follow the Holy Spirit, help me to overflow with godliness and good works to glorify You!

For these prayers, we say together: “In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!”

Have Praying Friends

“Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective.” (James‬ ‭5:16‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Do you have Christian friends and family who are praying regularly for you? If you do, you’re a blessed person!

If not, God wants to add some praying friends into your life. Our Patreon community is one platform where we can pray for one another whenever any needs arise.

If there’s one thing I covet, I covet a team of Christians who are fervent prayer warriors to intercede for me in prayer every day!
That would be an amazing spiritual partnership—who knows how many lives could be transformed if that happens?
May it come to pass, Lord Jesus!

When we are pregnant with a new beginning in our spirit, we must keep feeding it with the hearing of God’s word to receive faith, before we can birth it into our life.

When we feel faithless or overwhelmed by the hugeness of the dream God has placed in our spirit, we can call on praying friends for that additional spiritual support.

Remember the paralytic on the stretcher who was lowered down into the house where Jesus was?
His four friends helped bring him before Jesus when he had no ability to walk.
Similarly, we can bring our friends before the Lord when we pray for them.

As believers, our prayers are effective and powerful when offered in faith with the absence of doubt.

It’s easier for a third-party to believe because they are not emotionally attached to the outcome—do you get what I mean?

Your knowing too much about your situation produces fear and worry—which causes unbelief.

But when you ask a Christian friend to pray for you, he or she will do so simply to help you and wanting to see the breakthrough in your life—it’s easier for them to offer up a prayer of faith.

“Most certainly I tell you, whatever things you bind on earth will have been bound in heaven, and whatever things you release on earth will have been released in heaven. Again, assuredly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them.”” (Matthew‬ ‭18:18-20‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

There is a power in corporate agreement. When believers pray together, there is heavenly authority for breakthroughs backed by Jesus’ own promise.

You’re not trying to accumulate petitions to convince God to do something—you’re simply consenting for Him to do what He already wants to do in your life.

When believers are physically gathered, the Spirit of Christ (the Holy Spirit) manifests bodily to be in the middle of them.
The Holy Spirit is unlimited so He can be simultaneously among different groups of believers who are gathered all over the world.

When He shows up like this, it’s to dispense the different forms of grace—including healing, wisdom, gifting, anointing, breaking of bondages, etc.

Good things happen when believers pray. We are called to walk in love and to be recognized as Christians by our love for one another.

One way to love one another as Jesus loved us is to pray for each other. Jesus prayed for His disciples and even for His enemies.

He has given us the pattern to follow. Pray for one another, and ask for prayer if you need it.
Let us support each other on this journey of bringing our new small beginnings to greatly increased latter ends!
