This is one of the two songs I did on my (first) trip to America. I did this with my team in LA, they are the most amazing and nicest people I've ever met hehe! :) We sat down and started out with just a sample and some piano lines. We experimented alot until we got the beat first, then the melody and so on. And its amazing how we started out from scratch and made it into a song.
I find this song to be something that everyone can relate to, including myself because when we were thinking of the song title I was kinda thinking about how everyone's running, chasing after something, just like in a race. And in a race you (obviously) have to cross the finish line to win. So I thought, why not have a song called finish line? Because everyone's running for a prize. And well, some times there's only one prize, and all kinds of things just try to put you down. But through this song I wanted to tell whoever's listening to not lose focus. I want to encourage you not to give up and keep running... so, run so you may obtain your prize. :)
