On-line Live Forum on "Biomedical Solutions to COVID-19 and Genetic Analyses"
Glad to have a great chance to share Taiwan's Bio-tech industry technologies and competence to Youtube viewers and the public. Originally the Hsinchu Science Park Bureau would like to host a summit in Malaysia but because of Covid19 we can not make it. So, we have today’s on-line program. As figure of COVID19 cases still rising globally, people in Taiwan are much luckier so far, and we are willing to share the capacities and experiences to help and work with global partners to search for feasible biomedical solutions. 演講摘要: 台灣半導體產業在世界上扮演舉足輕重的角色 ,以半導體專業製造為例, 於2014 年,台積電及聯電分別躍居全世界晶圓專工之前兩名 ,總產值佔60%以上。然面對全世界的劇烈競爭,台灣半導體產業將如何持續 保持競爭力,提供全世界行動裝置IC設計者先進製程製造平台? 而對於快速興起之物聯網 (IoT) 應用,又將有何挑戰與機會?

★Ph. D., Materials Science and Engineering, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
★Joined UMC R&D division for the technology development of advanced module and process integration in 1995. Lead 1000 R&D team members on delivering 28nm HK/MG, Poly/SiON, and 14nm/10nm FinFET technology development since 2013.
★Chairman of SEMI Taiwan IC committee and also the Committee Member of VLSI Symposium.
★Published 81 international journal papers and 90 conference papers covering semiconductors and nano-/bio-technologies. Hold 141 patents with 260 certificates granted.
