The man who created world news 20 years ago by building the (then) tallest building in the world is the same man who created world news again today. UNBELIEVABLE! I don’t know how Tun Dr Mahathir managed to pull this off, but I am sure without the unity of the people, he wouldn’t have achieved this outstanding results. We should all be proud of this achievement as we can now say that WE made a change. Today is the day I realise how much power lies in our hands and from now onwards, I will never forget.
WE made what seemed so impossible possible. Today signifies so much more than just the opposition winning. Finally we have broken the streak of a single party rule; we have proven that it is possible to set aside your differences to achieve greater good; and WE HAVE OUR FIRST FEMALE DPM! How awesome is that!?
Also, I would like to say a big thank you to all those yesterday who worked so hard in ensuring there was a fair election. You played a huge role in bringing this change to our country. Without you guys, we wouldn’t have achieved what we did today.
“Be the change we wish to see” and now we have seen. Good job, all!! Today really is a day to remember.
