大一時，我花了整整一個月的時間，讀完西蒙波娃的經典「第二性」。雖然19歲的我對這本比磚塊還厚重的書一知半解，但它使我開始更關注周遭的性別議題。
我從修完台大「婦女與性別研究學程」，到參加「消除對婦女一切形式歧視公約」（CEDAW）活動，到在紐約哲學星期五籌辦性別議題講座，乃至於主辦「科技女孩」（TechGirls）活動，在過去13年裡，性別平等佔據我心裡重要的一塊。
今晚新境界智庫法政小組開會，我見到了從大學以來就非常景仰的尤美女委員，美女委員熱情地鼓勵我這位沒有政治背景卻投入選艱困選區的新人，讓我備受鼓舞 🌹
我也很期待，當選之後能向委員學習如何做好國會議員的角色！👊

#創新是台灣的基因
#新創是許多青年的未來
我從好幾天前，就開始期待 #新創縱隊 的成立！我自己是 #TechGirls 的主持人，也是 #台灣網路治理論壇 的主辦成員。
我相信，#創新 是台灣的基因，而 #新創 是許多青年的未來。我曾經兩度參訪以色列，對他們新創產業的蓬勃發展，印象深刻。
今天，我們新創縱隊的成立，也有 French Tech Taiwan 代表Laurent Le Guyader（梁洛杭）博士出席。法國在馬克宏總統擔任經濟部部長時，就開始推動 #La French Tech，並且積極地在世界各地選定地方設立French Tech Hub，透過不同的定點引進投資者、連結合作夥伴等等，形成E2E (Ecosystem to Ecosystem) 。
2018年，台灣科技部成立了亞洲國際級科技創業基地 #Taiwan Tech Arena， 法國官方認證的French Tech Taiwan也和Taiwan Tech Arena成為合作夥伴，讓台法之間的新創交流不僅限於民間、也升級到官方。
近期PWC的新創調查報告也指出，新創期待走入國際。現在新創創業的第一天就面對國際市場，我也會發揮自己的外交專業與熱情，期許和其他國家的新創機構和單位，能更密切合作，協助台灣的新創走向國際、接軌世界！

On Taiwan Hashtag hosted by Ross Feingold, we are joined by Hseih
Pei-fen 謝佩芬, Legislative Yuan candidate for the Democratic Progressive
Party 民進黨 of President Tsai Ing-wen in the Da An District 大安區
constituency located in downtown Taipei. Hseih, a lawyer by training,
holds degrees from Harvard and National Taiwan University, and
previously worked for Taiwan’s National Security Council and the Tuvalu
United Nations mission in New York City. She has also held positions at
the Taiwan Network Information Center and the TechGirls organization
that promotes female leadership in the technology industry. The
incumbent Da An legislator is retiring, but the constituency
historically votes for the Kuomintang and we discuss with Hsieh Pei-fen
the challenges of introducing herself to voters, and why she believes Da
An voters are ready to elect a DPP candidate. We also discuss her
experience working at the United Nations and on technology policy
issues, and why both are relevant to voters in Da An, a center for
culture and commerce in Taiwan.
