Bush, Houston, Austin, Texas A&M University, Rice Universityrsity… Texan culture is really different from that of other states in the United States. Texas, located in the south of the U.S., ranks 2nd in size among the 50 states. Texas is also the 12th largest economy in the world by GDP. According to the 2014-2015 Open Doors Report, there were 1,381 Taiwan students studying in Texas. This made Texas the third most popular state for international students from Taiwan.
