大家好。
我是在 National Institute of Ophthalmic Sciences (NIOS) 读光学系(Optometry)的第四年的学生，Ms. Yvonne Ng 012-7283110。配合我们最后一年的实习，我们会在近期提供免费的眼睛检验给大家。
其实这个是光学系的学生(optometry student) final year 的实习 (practical). 即使是学生负责验眼，可是有几位有执照并有多年从事该行业的指导员监督。
这项检查包括：
(a)眼部功能评估
(b)检查眼睛度数
(c)眼部健康评估
(d)青光眼检查
(e)白内障 （眼膜）检查
(f)视网膜检查
(g)隐形眼镜咨询与服务
(h)懒惰眼（lazy eye)
(i)斗鸡眼（squint）
由于我们会提供全面性的检查，因此前来检查的朋友必须花上大约2小时的时间来做详细的检查。检查完毕后，我们会给你们眼睛的度数和针对个人的情况给你们一些建议。
如果说我们怀疑您很不幸的患上类似青光眼或视网膜病等会失明的病，我们会把您的案子提送到眼科医(Ophthalmologist)来处理里.
开放时间：
星期一至星期五：9am至5pm
星期六： 8：30am 至1pm
我们的NIOS clinic 是在敦胡先翁眼科医院隔壁的那栋NIOS building的三楼。

Also love that @woptics has IN-HOUSE comprehensive eye examinations so you can do your eye check ups super easily and conveniently! You can go to their flagship store at Suntec City (it’s the largest optics shop in Singapore till date), and they open 11am to 9pm! Many people don’t know about this and think the only place they can go to to do eye exams is at eye specialists which you have to book in advance and only opens during office hours!
