['ASIAN EYES' ARE MORE COMMON THAN YOU THINK]
The stereotypical Asian eye - the ones that are small, slanted and often with a monolid (single eyelid). These can ONLY be seen in Asians.
...ok, not exactly true.
Just like how there are Asian people who have larger, non-squinty eyes; there also exist white people or black people who do have these squinty, Asiatic eyes.
But just how common is it among non-Asian people, and why do they even have it?
In this video, I'll get into the different countries and ethnic groups from all over the world that you may not expect to have this characteristic.
There will also be examples from some well-known celebrity faces!
If you want to find out what kind of 'Asian Eyes' you have, click our previous video on the topic. In it, we cover the truth behind apparent slanted eyes or small Asian eyes, hooded eyes (common in Caucasian eyes), as well as the different types of Asian epicanthic folds (epicanthal fold).

[WHAT KIND OF 'ASIAN EYES' DO YOU HAVE? (TEST YOURSELF)]
Asian people have many distinct features that make them look the way they do, but Asian eyes in particular may be the most recognizable. It is perhaps the most referenced physical attribute for Asian people.
But what exactly makes an eye look Asian, and is the stereotypical small and slanted version accurate?
In this video I go over the different types of Asian eyes - from the epicanthic fold varieties to eyelid crease specifics. Single eyelids (monolid), double eyelid, demi eyelid, hooded eyelid, puffy eyelid, we cover it all!
At the end, I check to see what kind of Asian eye I have!
Note: The epicanthic fold is also known as epicanthal fold, epicanthus, Mongolian fold, plica palpebronasalis and palpebronasal fold.
