In Vlog 235/3016, Azmi and I went to support the Alchemy Design Project headed by well renowned jeweller and Professor Sydney Scherr to raise funds to buy toolkits, which will be used in their sustainable jewellery making courses for survivors of human trafficking.
Sydney will be working with Tenaganita in her efforts to assist and empower women who have been human trafficked.
Special thank you to Drift and Dining Bar for partnering with Alchemy Design Project in this charity drive and the students and volunteers for donating their jewellery and time for this cause.
I am onboard with this initiative as I have young children of my own and human trafficking can happen to ANYONE, including my children.
