每年一度的「巴黎外國文化週」即將在9月中登場，今年的主題為「數位與虛擬實境」(Digital et Réalité virtuelle)，思考人與作品的互動、新科技對生活的影響，並呈現各國新科技藝術的樣貌。文化部駐法國臺灣文化中心配合主題，邀請新媒體藝術家林經堯擔任策展人，規劃「實境工廠」(Reality Factory)台灣數位藝術家聯展，展覽日期自9月18日至23日，於巴黎市第13區密特朗國家圖書館對面的新興複合式數位藝術空間「EP7」展出。
此次會應邀展出「沙中房間」虛擬實境，並有開幕作品介紹與解說。

「實境工廠」- 臺灣藝術家數位藝術展
Les progrès accomplis depuis de longues années et les récentes avancées dans la fabrication des appareils de réalité virtuelle ouvrent un vaste champ à l’imagination. La production de réalité virtuelle diffère de l’action des médias en ceci qu’elle crée une fausse réalité alors que les médias faussent la réalité. Et pour nous, qui sommes coincés entre les deux, il devient souvent très difficile de distinguer le réel du virtuel. Sur ce sujet, le Centre culturel de Taïwan expose les artistes taïwanais des nouveaux médias 陶亞倫 （Ya-Lun Tao）, 黃心健 （Hsin-Chien Huang）,
Jinyao Lin(林經堯),張夏翡 （Hsia-Fei Chang）et Chiachi Chiang(蔣佳錡) avec des œuvres de VR et des installations. L’inauguration sera marquée par le performance de l’ensemble français d’art sonore CHDH.

The progress made over many years and the recent advances in the manufacture of virtual reality devices open an extensive field to imagination. Virtual reality production is different from the action of the media in that it creates a false reality as the media distort reality. And for us, who are stuck in between, it often becomes very difficult to distinguish the real from the virtual.
