และด้วยความที่ทาง Capcom นั้น Remake ภาค 2 และ 3 ออกมาได้ไม่ค่อยจะดีเท่าที่ควร โดยเฉพาะภาค 3 ที่มีปัญหาด้านปริมาณคอนเทนต์ที่น้อยซะจนแฟนเกมหลายคนบอกว่าไม่คุ้มราคาเอาซะเลย ทำให้แฟนเกม Resident Evil บางส่วน ไม่เห็นด้วยกับการหยิบภาคในตำนานอย่างภาค 4 มา Remake

แต่ทางผู้กำกับเกมนั้นคิดอีกแบบหนึ่ง เขาออกมาแสดงความคิดเห็นว่า ตราบใดที่มันยังคงเป็นเรื่องที่ดี เขาก็ไม่มีปัญหาอะไรทั้งสิ้นกับการ Remake Resident Evil 4
