2017台北世界大學運動會即將在8月19日開幕。你最想觀賞哪些項目？我們在7月27日介紹了即將在世大運代表美國參加棒球項目的愛荷華鷹眼隊。今天要介紹的是另一項B開頭的運動 -- 籃球（Basketball），籃球項目在男子組和女子組都有比賽。你知道來自台灣、目前在美國自由大學打大學聯賽的的陳盈駿這次也會代表台灣出賽嗎？
美國男籃這次派出的是普渡大學鍋爐工隊（Boilermakers）。這次世大運男子籃球項目共有24隊參賽，預期將是世大運競爭最激烈的項目之一。普渡大學也是大十聯盟的成員之一，在贏得2017大十聯盟冠軍後，鍋爐工隊獲美國國際大學運動總會（US-IUSF）選為美國世大運男籃代表隊，在這次男籃項目中非常被看好。

On August 19 the Summer Universiade will start in Taipei. What sports do you plan on seeing during the games? On July 27, we introduced the Iowa Hawkeye baseball team that will represent USA Team in that sport. The other “B-Ball” sport -- “Basketball” -- has both a men’s and a women’s division. Did you know that Ray Chen, who is from Taiwan and will compete in the games, has been playing college basketball in the United States at Liberty University?
This year, the U.S men’s basketball team is being represented by Purdue University. They are known as the “Boilermakers.” With 24 different teams competing, men's basketball is expected to be one of the toughest competitions of the whole event. Purdue is part of the Big Ten Conference. Purdue won the 2017 Big Ten Championship and was selected by the US-IUSF.
