Spoke at the #PAPConvention this morning. To stay abreast of the changing times, the People's Action Party adopted a new Resolution outlining its goals and aspirations for Singapore.
One key thrust in the Resolution is to build a fair and just society. We must strengthen social safety nets to make sure that no one gets left behind. The elderly particularly need attention. We are setting up the PAP Seniors Group – PAP.SG, chaired by Speaker Halimah Yacob with ESM Goh Chok Tong as its Advisor. It will champion elderly causes and issues.
Let us continue to work together to bring Singapore to greater heights. – LHL
