This little piece of board I'm holding is not a typical step board nor a massage machine. It's a piece of training equipment.
Most of you know that I train with and without equipment. Recently, I've discovered this beast, ITSU FitzPlate, and I'm impressed with its function and versatility.
Been using it for quite a while, I'd say this is a great multi-function fitness tool that can enhance your workout at home (my wife loves it).
Other than training, it furthermore suitable for those days when you don't feel like working out, but at the same time, you want to stay active at home or in the office, to reduce stress and speed up muscle recovery.
If you wonder how is this equipment work, ITSU will post some training tutorials soon, so stay tuned!

Muscle Imbalance: สภาวะกล้ามเนื้อ หน้า-หลัง ไม่สมดุล ทำให้ปวดเมื่อย และบาดเจ็บง่าย อยากหาย อ่านต่อเลย
ก่อนอื่น ลองเช็คกันก่อนว่าชาว Fitjunctions มีอาการเหล่านี้ไหม
- รู้สึกว่าหลังค่อม ไหล่ห่อ หาสาเหตุไม่ได้
- เมื่อย คอ บ่า ไหล่
- เวลาวิดพื้น หรือ Bench Press แล้วเจ็บไหล่ ถ้าลงสุด
- เวลาเล่นท่าที่ต้อง Row หรือดึงเข้า มักดึงได้ไม่สุด และเมื่อยแขน
- ปวดหลัง
ปัญหาของนักเรียนหลายๆคน ที่เราพบ คือมีความไม่สมดุลระหว่างกล้ามเนื้อด้านหน้า และด้านหลัง ซึ่งเกิดมาจาก
1. Lifestyle เพราะในชีวิตประจำวันนั้น เราใช้กล้ามเนื้อหลัง (Rhomboids) ค่อนข้างน้อยมาก เมื่อเทียบกับหัวไหล่ และอาจจะมีการนั่งหน้าคอม นั่งขับรถนานๆ ทำให้กล้ามเนื้อ อก ตึง
2. ตารางออกกำลังกาย ไม่สมดุล เช่น
เน้นแต่กล้ามอก ไหล่ ท้อง เยอะมากๆ อย่างละ 5-6 ท่า
แต่เล่นกล้ามหลัง ก้น ไหล่หลัง น้อย (เช่นเล่นแค่ 1-2 ท่า)
3. ขาดความเข้าใจเรื่อง Function ต่างๆของกล้ามเนื้อ
เช่น "หลัง" คนเรา แบ่งได้หลายมัด หลายหน้าที่
หากเราเล่นแค่ Lats ด้วยท่า Lats Pulldown กับ Pull Up สองท่านี้
จะไม่ได้ใช้กล้ามเนื้อหลังครบถ้วน
#วิธีแก้ปัญหา ก็ต้องเริ่มจาก
1. บริหารให้สมดุล ตาม Function
วิธีคิดง่ายๆ แบบไม่ซับซ้อน คือหากมีท่าที่ต้อง ดันออก (Bench Press) ก็ต้องมีท่าที่ ดึงเข้า (Cable Row) เพื่อมาทำให้เกิดสมดุลหน้า และหลัง
ในปริมาณที่พอๆกัน
ตัวอย่างของการเลือกท่าตรงข้ามที่ดี
Push Up (อก) VS Cable Row จับกว้าง (หลัง Rhomboids / ไหล่หลัง)
Cable Fly (อก) VS Dumbell Reverse Fly (ไหล่หลัง)
Overhead Press (ไหล่) VS Lats Pulldown (ปีก)
2. นวดกล้ามเนื้อที่ตึง ด้วย Foam Roller
3. ยืดกล้ามเนื้อที่ตึง ส่วนใหญ่คือ อก ไหล่ด้านหน้า เอว
สำหรับท่ายืดละเอียดๆ จะมาทำเป็นคลิปสอนกันโอกาสหน้าครับ
Notes: ช่วงนี้ ผมรู้สึกว่า ความรู้ในเชิงการออกกำลังกายของชาวเพจเรา
น่าจะพร้อม กับ Content ที่ "จริงจัง ลงลึก" มากขึ้น

In general, the menstrual cycle occurs in two phases. On average, it’s a 28-day cycle.
1) FOLLICULAR Phase - Day 1 to Day 14
- Go hard! Do high intensity workouts, lift heavy and perform total body strength training.
- Your body is more tolerant to pain and muscles recover quicker.
- Your body uses Carbs as its main source of fuel.
- You can increase your carb intake slightly especially after an intense workout.
2) LUTEAL Phase - Day 14 to Day 28
- I like to call this phase the “roller coaster” phase.
- this is when all the PMS symptoms start to hit: you might crave for sugar or high fat food, you have bigger appetite, you feel sluggish, you have trouble sleeping, your body retains more water, you feel bloated and you might suffer from mild cramps too.
- Your body turns to FAT AS FUEL instead of carbs.
- Good news, your body is now burning FAT rather than carbs or glycogen. Focus on steady pace cardio to get the most out of your workout.
- This is also when the muscle breakdown increases, hence it takes longer for you to recover from your workout. So choose moderation workout that’s less intense.
- You might lose your motivation BUT power through your workout, as much as possible, eat well and you WILL feel better.
We are all very different and it takes time to really understand your body. If you have this knowledge, you’re able to take advantage of the hormonal benefits and overcome the challenges by adjusting and changing your workout routine and also food intake.
Again, remember this is a guideline as there is very limited research in regards to training with your menstrual cycle. Give it a try, make changes and see what works for you.
