Chihiro designed her costume to the colors of Funasshi.
Funasshi is an unofficial mascot of the town of Funabashi who became popular thanks to his particular character and surprising movements. One of the first times he appeared on television he tried to play Sumo with an anouncer and was badly defeated in a second. Last week Funasshi has won a contest of mascots, called in Japan Yuru-kyara (short for Yurui-character, Yurui meaning "loose") and consequently will go all over Japan to promote local businesses.
