Fatimah and Ali’s school recently started having their very own Forest School! Forest School is a classroom without any walls. It is an outdoor education delivery model in which students visit natural spaces to learn personal, social and technical skills. Fatimah and Ali are blessed to have their own oasis of tranquility in their school - whispering trees, a storytelling hut, and even a pond! Their Forest School looks even more beautiful at this time of the year, when autumn brings leaves in all shades. 🍂🍃🍁
However, Fatimah’s year group haven’t had their turn for Forest School yet, but Ali and his classmates have been lucky enough to experience it! Ali has done a range of activities. Aside from learning through nature, he’s enjoyed exploring the Forest School and taking part in physical activities like moving through obstacle courses, climbing trees, and splashing about in the rain - the wet weather brings lots of muddy puddles to splash in, not to mention the wiggly worms 🐛 that mysteriously appear from underground.
As well as fun games like bug and egg hunts, he’s also had the chance to make his own paint from fruits and vegetables - 🌶 chillies for red, 🍏 apples for green, 🍊 oranges for orange, and 🍇 grapes for purple. Ali also made nature-related crafts - bracelets made out of string and autumn leaves, and wands made of sticks, feathers, and fabric. And this is just a lil’ peek at the variety of activities at his Forest School!
So far, Ali’s really enjoyed his Forest School experience - he can’t stop talking about it! And now, Fatimah is looking forward for her Forest School sessions. Hearing about Ali’s outdoor adventures has filled her with excitement!

オーブンシートのおりがみで風船を作り、中にチーズケーキの生地を入れて焼いてみました。ワンボウルでできる生地なので、風船づくりをチョットがんばれば、びっくりおやつが簡単にできます。溢れたり、風船が壊れたり、何度か失敗しましたが、やっと動画になりました。ご覧になってください。
*レシピ*（10個分）
１．15✕15センチのオーブンシートで風船を10個作ります。
２．薄力粉 100gとベーキングパウダー 7gを合わせてふるっておきます。
３．柔らかくした クリームチーズ 60gを滑らかになるまで混ぜる。
４．砂糖 60gを2回に分けて入れ混ぜる。
５．割りほぐした卵 1個を2回に分けて入れ混ぜる。
６．牛乳 50gと生クリーム 50gも入れ混ぜる。
７．２の粉類を入れ混ぜる。
８．溶かし無塩バター 10gも入れ混ぜる。
９．生地を絞り袋に入れ、１の風船に入れる（1個あたりおよそ35g）。
１０．160度に予熱したオーブンで15分焼く。
１１．できあがり。
普通の蒸し器でもやってみましたがうまくいきませんでした。
We are always updating our blog!
We filled a balloon made out of parchment paper with cheesecake batter and baked it in the oven. The batter can all be made with one bowl. That means you just need to put in a little effort folding the paper balloon to make yourself a very simple treat. We had a few failures along the way with issues of overflowing or the balloon popping, but we finally got it right for the video. Please enjoy.
Recipe (makes 10)
1. Make ten balloons out of 15 by 15cm parchment paper.
2. Sift 100g cake flour and 7g baking powder and combine.
3. Mix 60g soft cream cheese until it is smooth.
4. Add 60g sugar in two incremental steps.
5. Add in a beaten egg in two incremental steps.
6. Add 50g milk and 50g fresh cream and mix together.
7. Add the flour from step 2 and mix together.
8. Add in 10g melted, unsalted butter and mix.
9. Put the batter in a piping bag and fill the balloons from step 1. (About 35g of filling each)
10. Bake for 15 minutes in an oven preheated to 160 degrees Celsius.
11. Finished.
