I used to immerse myself so much in my work that I didn’t take an off day for many years. Even when I traveled, I was not really taking a holiday but creating more content for my socials. I was feeling really tired and yet I continued on this stressful trajectory.
During the pandemic, my family made me realise that I should take time off to relax, clear my head and have more time for people and things that mattered to me, while also spending less time transfixed on my phone. Over time, the anxiety of not being able to be inspired and to create started to lessen.
These days I feel much more relaxed, carefree with very much less stress on my mind and body. I now make a conscious effort to indulge in activities that bring only peace, acceptance and happiness to myself. I am doing things differently for the greater good, because I am #MadeDifferently, just like #smartwater. Be fearless of what the future may be. Bring it on!
