Olimpia Zagnoli returns to collaborate once more with the House, this time illustrating the Dior Cruise 2021 collection on.dior.com/cruise21 by Maria Grazia Chiuri. The Italian artist employs her characteristic aesthetic of bold mark making and a restrained but judicious use of color, utilizing negative space and the tone of the paper itself to create a strong optical impact. These illustrations distills the essence of Puglia, the collection's primary inspiration, and the traits and traditions that make this region so special for the Creative Director of Women's collections – from the role played by nature to the vestiges of its classical past, its ancestral pizzica dance and the delicacy of handmade 'tombolo' lace.
