Serving:

Ingredients:
30ml Brass Lion Gin
Juice from ¼ Pineapple
20ml Cherry Heering
30ml Fresh Lemon Juice
15ml Grenadine
5ml Cointreau
5ml DOM Benedictine
3 dashes Angostura
Soda Water

Steps:
1. Blend fresh pineapples into juice, and strain into a cocktail shaker.
2. Add fresh lemon juice, grenadine, Brass Lion Gin, Cherry Heering, DOM Benedictine, Cointreau and angostura bitters. Stir and taste.
3. Add ice into a highball glass. Add ice into the shaker and shake for 6-8 seconds.
4. Strain into highball glass with ice. Top with soda water. Garnish with pineapple wedge and cherry.

十年前的我們一定沒想過
可以在30歲前一起踏上冰島這個國度
我們辦到了

這集主要在描述我們如何從臺灣經倫敦轉機到冰島的過程
連這樣我都可以剪成一集也算是搞威

幾個重點提醒：
1.機票
我在十個月前就購買華航直飛倫敦的機票
價格約$22000 算是便宜的 (除非又再打價格戰)
飛冰島則是兩個月前買的
是廉航WIZZ Air 含20kg行李價格約快$5000

2.機場
我們抵達英國是在Gatwick Airport
但WIZZ Air起飛冰島是在Luton Airport
所以到Gatwick後我們立刻搭火車至Luton
準備搭隔天早上的飛機

3.OYO HOTEL
就如同影片所呈現的那樣
一進去想介紹但也只能發出嗯的一聲
完全沒什麼好講的啦哈哈哈哈哈
但我們只是為了轉機睡覺用的
它到Luton機場搭公車只需要15分鐘
所以找一個非常非常便宜來睡覺
如果你們跟我們一樣那可以訂這間來睡覺啦

4.英國便利商店的食物
出乎我們意料的覺得便宜
而且微波食品以倫敦這價格都還算過得去
如果是窮遊我覺得吃微波食品也不會餓死
但我們去買的那間沒微波爐我們帶回飯店微波的
你們要自己先確認一下

5.Luton Airport過海關
我們原本還悠哉的吃著漢堡王
沒想到差點來不及還被Final call
因為那機場的動線不知道怎麼搞得非常不順
然後切記筆電一定要拿出來單獨過X光
手提行李裡面
任何罐裝保養品一定要放在夾鏈袋裡面
他們過得非常嚴格動作又很慢!!!!!
如果X光沒過抱歉就是一直重來喔

6.冰島租車
切記一定要先在台灣的監理所換國際駕照
並把台灣駕照跟國際駕照都帶去

7.租車公司與保險
機場出來後找Shuttle Bus接你去租車公司
我們租的是Ice Rental Cars
因為不想有任何麻煩
所以直接跟租車公司保了全險
比較貴但是也不會被刁難

甚至因為跟他們保了全險取車的時候連對傷痕都沒有
過程中沒什麼毛病
如果你想省錢也可以找更便宜的保險
不過五個人你想租七人座還是九人座就看你們自己了

This is the Ice Village at Lake Shikaribetsu Kotan in central Hokkaido (http://visit-tokachi.jp/en_activity/en_evt1902). It takes quite a bit of traveling to get there, but once you're in the city the local buses will pick you from the train stations and take you to the lake for free during the ice village season! (Make sure to talk to the hotel front desk to get a free ticket for the bus on the return ride!) The village is free to walk through but all the activities (drinks, ice carving, snowmobile, staying the night in an igloo, onsen, etc) cost money! The drinks were 500 yen each (~$5), and getting it in an ice glass was an additional 500 yen. Supposedly they may have dog sledding at some point, too!?

We were a little early because they hadn't finished building the chapel or the igloos yet, but it was still really cool to see the ice cafe! You can also eat lunch at a restaurant in the hotel, although Jun and I didn't enjoy our meal very much (ymmv).

We haven't added all our Hokkaido destinations to their website yet, but once we do we'll make our Hokkaido trip and share it!
