為尊重小孩媽媽的意願，影片會從Facebook刪除。但她也明白到讓大家知道事實的重要，所以同意影片在Facebook以外的平台發佈。
而以下是當時發生的事情：
她周一傍晚，亦即民眾發起大罷工當天，她帶着女兒和兩名兒子，從黃大仙地鐵站步行回家，沿路一直受到催淚煙影響。女兒衝入所居住的大廈後，崩潰大哭倒地，隨後當值保安員把她拉進升降機內。當時整個大廈大堂都瀰漫着刺鼻的催淚煙。 四人進入升降機後，女孩仍痛苦難耐地大哭。自己雙眼也十分不適的母親只能不停用清水為孩子洗眼，並安慰他們。
四人只是受驚，暫時未發現身體有大礙。
母親在香港土生土長，懂得廣東話。她今天憶述：「昨天之前，從未見過香港那麼不安全。但我很感激香港人，站在催淚煙之中仍然會互相幫忙」。 但她真的不希望有催淚煙影響到這個社區，使他們面臨生命會受到危害的風險，尤其她的大兒子患有哮喘。

The mother and her three children in the video walked from the Wong Tai Sin MTR station to the residential building around 6 pm on Monday.
The police had already fired several rounds of tear gas on the road next to the estate. The gas enveloped the neighborhood and affected the children. The girl burst out crying when she rushed into the building.
”The tear gas was really fresh. It was so much,” the mother said. She felt like their lives were under threats, given that her son has asthma.
”I had never seen Hong Kong so unsafe before yesterday. But I really appreciate Hong Kong people. They were still standing in the gas, helping each other, ” she said. ”But I really don't want the tear gas.”
The family has been contacted by many relatives and friends as the video has captured so much attention.
The mother wants to let everyone know that they are safe now. She hopes that everyone can stop reaching out to her and let them cope with the traumatic experience quietly.
