第76屆的 #聯合國大會 已經在前天正式開始。透過這支影片，我們向國際社會表達了台灣目前在各個面向上的自由及人權現況。
在台灣，不同的宗教、群族、性傾向、身體狀況和歷史過往，我們給予同樣的尊重、了解、與接納。
每一個人都能自由表達自己的心聲和立場，都有機會學習、傳承自己的歷史與文化，也都有空間、資源實踐自己的理想與追求。
這一切得來不易，也是這塊土地上所有人共同的努力，堅持民主、自由的價值，積極對話溝通，互相理解，才得到的成果。
在疫情期間，台灣貢獻我們的專業與力量，和國際社會積極地互助，合作防疫，共同造就了強健的 #善的循環。
我相信，正視台灣2300萬人參與國際社會的權利，接納台灣參與聯合國，可以打造更包容、更接納的聯合國。台灣也一定可以為全球疫後復甦，及永續重建做出實質貢獻。

敬自由/ Lowbing Miyu
「這是祖靈給我的任務」
19歲的 Lowbing Miyu
來自 #賽德克族都達群 (Sediq Toda)
是家族第十代巫醫傳人

他在14歲時意外發現
巫醫常用的法器「Daran」(竹占) 能夠黏在自己手上
確定了祖靈給他的使命與任務
此後便跟同為巫醫的祖母學習傳統祭儀
成為部落最年輕的巫醫

外交部在今年聯合國推案影片《敬 自由》中
Lowbing Miyu 談到了原住民自由延續祭儀文化

『身為家族第10代巫醫傳人
我感受到祖靈給我的使命
未來也會持續貫徹祖靈的任務與延續祭儀文化』

To Freedom / Lowbing Miyu
Nineteen-year-old Lowbing Miyu, from the Sediq Toda indigenous community in Hualien’s Dgarung village, is a tenth generation Msabuh or shaman. When he was fourteen, he discovered that the Msabuh’s Daran (bamboo divination sticks) kept sticking to his hand, indicating his vocation. He then studied under his grandmother--also a Msabuh--becoming the youngest Msabuh in his community.
Lowbing features in MOFA’s recent promotional short for the United Nations General Assembly, in which he talks of his freedom to pursue the vocation of his ancestors:
“As a tenth generation shaman in my community, I feel the spirits of my ancestors gave me my vocation. I will continue to study to continue this culture of rites.”
If the UN states part of its mission as encouraging countries around the world to respect the rights of their people, Taiwan's vision of global partnership can serve as a valuable reference.
