スマホの加速度センサーとジャイロセンサーで盗聴ができてしまうという研究をスタンフォード大学が発表しました。
「マイクへのアクセスを禁止しているから問題ない」
と思っている人は危険です。 何気ないゲームアプリやビジネスアプリ、写真撮影アプリなどに仕込むことが可能です。
さらにOSにはセキュリティー項目がありますが、ジャイロセンサーや加速度センサーはプライバシーに影響が無いと考えられているため、どのアプリからも無制限にアクセスできます。
加速度センサーでどのように盗聴するのか？ 声がスマホに当たると、微妙ながらスマホが振動します。 その振動を加速度センサーで読み取ることで盗聴を行います。
盗聴を気にしている人は
・スマホの電源をOFFにする
・重要な会議ではスマホを室内に入れない
・部屋に音楽を掛けて、ヒソヒソ声で話す
などの方法が有効です。
